Advanced Nets & Ropes - Netting Australia Wide

With our other company "SecureaKat" we install cat enclosures and cat runs throughout Australia. We also support many local cat shows including sponsoring the Best Domestic Kitten category at the Royal Adelaide Show 2011.

Garfield was adopted from 'Help Save The Furry Ones" animal rescue shelter in Ingle Farm, South Australia. Here is an interview with the owner and SecureaKat on Adelaide's 5AA radio station with Amanda Blair.

Some of the topics discussed include the number of cats in need of homes, desexing cats and dogs, people dumping their cats and where you can go if you want to adopt a cat from a shelter.

Here at Advanced Nets we do quite a bit of work for animal shelters and other environmental uses as you can see here http://www.advancednets.com.au/environmental-nets.html.

Recently, the Minton Farm Animal Rescue Centre in South Australia www.mintonfarm.com.au contacted us looking for us to design and install a netted enclosure for Miru, a wedge tailed eagle who was brought to them after its mother was shot. The enclosure is large enough to allow Miru to walk and fly around inside. You can read about the latest happenings at the centre here
The refuge has emerged from a community need for animal and bird rescue and rehabilitation. The project funding relies entirely on volunteers and donations to operate. Your kind support will help to improve the quality of life for 100's of native animals and birds for future generations to enjoy, not just as extinct exhibits in museum.

Whilst we were inside the enclosure Miru put on a bit of a show for us as you can see in the videos below...
