Our other company, SecureaKat, installs custom cat enclosures for people in their back yards. Thanks to Tammy and Jayson for putting these photos online of their garden renovations and cat enclosure being built by SecureaKat.
Cats are sneaky masters of escapism so don't risk the safety of your loved one... Make sure that your cat enclosure is installed by experienced netting experts. Around Australia, there are laws being brought into place to stop cats from roaming free outside of the owners property due to the damage they can cause. You can read more about this here. At both Advanced Nets & Ropes and SecureaKat we truly believe that quality is not expensive, its priceless. We install the highest quality, long lasting, finished products and this means that we use only the highest quality UV stabilized cat enclosure netting and fittings available and we do not cut corners. When you are playing sport nobody wants to be the person who has to run 200 meters to get the ball when it goes out of play, and you definitely don't want to be the spectator who gets hit in the face by a stray ball! Advanced Nets and Ropes can develop a surround netting solution to stop this from happening.
Protect spectators, property and more by installing surround netting to catch stray balls. Advanced Nets will work with you to develop a custom solution to your ball stopping needs including all posts, pillars, netting and padding. Whatever sport you are playing we can create a fixed or retractable way to stop balls and keep you safe. With the cricket season fast approaching here in Australia, now is a great time to contact us about surround and safety netting as well as your cricket net needs. We are currently in the process of making one of the largest single nets we have ever constructed. The video below shows hand making nets for the new Jason Gillespie cricket practice centre being installed at the Ice Arena in Adelaide. When finished this will be one of Australias biggest and best indoor cricket practice centers and we are very excited to be involved in this project. We will post photos and a video when its finished. Below is a news report of the original Lehamnn and Gillespie centre we installed in Jamestown a number of years ago. See more of our cricket nets here http://www.advancednets.com.au/cricket-nets.html At Advanced Nets and Ropes we hand rig all of our nets made in the factory. There are a number of reasons for this; it gives a better finish with more accurate spacing. The materials used are also stronger meaning that the finished net product will last longer.
In the photos below you can see the difference. The first photo shows a machine rigged net whilst the second photo shows our hand rigged net. This is a fully enclosed netted sports area installed in a customers back yard and custom built to their requirements.
Similar to an installation we completed at a mine site in the Australian Outback, the structure is permanent and designed to withstand all weather including the harsh UV of the sun. Find out why this is important here. The sports netting features a heavy duty double zipped entrance the same as we install in our professional indoor cricket nets and is also tensioned perfectly to stop balls but not have them fling back at full speed. This is just one example of the range of fixed and retractable sports netting options we can construct in your garden. Whether its a simple net to stop the football or cricket ball from going over the fence, a baffle net to protect the windows on your house from being smashed by a ball, or a custom multi-sports setup for cricket, golf or tennis, we can create something just right for your needs. We don't just do the nets either. We handle everything from the construction of the playing area, concreting, laying artificial turf and professional installation of posts, goals and fencing. Contact us for more information or to arrange a quote on a custom sports area at your house, otherwise take a look at other areas of the website to get an idea of what we can do in your yard or confined space. The mining industry is one of Australia’s biggest employers with thousands of workers living and working on sites far away from home often in remote locations. Many workers will stay for weeks and months on end and aside from rolling around in the dust there isn’t much to do in the Australian Outback as you can see in the photos below! At Advanced Nets and Ropes we were asked to design and create a netted sports system for use on mine sites in order to give workers somewhere to keep active and have fun when not working. This particular installation features artificial turf, an artificial cricket wicket and is fully enclosed sides and top by tensioned netting in order to provide an area to play indoor cricket whilst outside (the tensioned net acts similar to a wall when hit by a ball). Similar to our indoor cricket installations, entry is via a high quality zipped net door. The finished net structure is permanent and is therefore designed to withstand all weather conditions. The netting is UV protected to the maximum level possible without degrading the quality of the net, in order to protect it against the harsh Australian sun and make it long lasting (why is this important?).
